Privacy Policy for GovDeduct PH

GovDeduct PH ("the App") is an offline salary deductions calculator for Filipino employees, developed by peepooh807 ("we," "us," or "the developer"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.
GovDeduct PH is an independent calculator and is NOT a government app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to GSIS, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, the BIR, or any other government agency. All figures shown are estimates only, based on widely known computation formulas, and may differ from your actual payslip or official computation.
1. Data You Enter Into the App
GovDeduct PH lets you enter your basic monthly salary to compute estimated GSIS/SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax deductions.
None of this data is saved, even locally. The App has no database, no file storage, and no accounts — the figures you enter exist only in memory while the App is open, and are cleared automatically when you close or background the App. Nothing is ever uploaded to any server or transmitted off your device.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the App. AdMob may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general usage data to serve and measure ads, and may use this information to personalize ads unless you have limited ad tracking in your device settings.
This data collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy:
You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (e.g., Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization").
3. Permissions
The App requests Internet and network state access solely to load and display AdMob ads. It does not use these permissions to transmit any salary figure you enter.
4. Data Sharing
We do not collect, sell, rent, or share any of your salary or calculation data, because the App never stores it in the first place. The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob, described above.
5. Children's Data
GovDeduct PH is a tool for working adults and is not directed at children. As noted above, the App does not collect or retain any personal data regardless of user age.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
There is nothing to retain or delete — the App does not save any data you enter, on the device or elsewhere.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same location with an updated "Last updated" date.
