Privacy Policy for Grado PH

Grado PH ("the App") is an offline class record and grade computation app for K-12 teachers, developed by peepooh807 ("we," "us," or "the developer"). This policy covers both the Android app and Grado PH Desktop (Windows). Section 2 (Advertising) and Section 3 (Permissions) apply to the Android app only — Grado PH Desktop has no ads, no internet permission, and no network access of any kind. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

1. Data You Enter Into the App

Grado PH lets you enter:

• Student names and sex (Male/Female)
• Class record data: sections, subjects, grade levels, scores, and computed grades
• School Details: Region, Division, District, School Name, School ID, School Year, and Teacher Name

All of this data is stored locally on your device only, in a private app database. It is never uploaded to any server, never transmitted off your device, and the developer has no access to it. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, this information is permanently deleted. It is your responsibility to back up any PDF/CSV exports you create.

We do not require or support user accounts, sign-in, or cloud sync, so no student or school data is ever sent to us.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob) — Android app only

The App displays banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob to support free use of the App. AdMob may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general usage data to serve and measure ads, and may use this information to personalize ads unless you have limited ad tracking in your device settings.

This data collection is performed by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy policy:

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (e.g., Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization").

3. Permissions — Android app only

The Android app requests Internet access solely to load and display AdMob ads. It does not use this permission to transmit any of your class record or school data. Grado PH Desktop requests no permissions and makes no network connections at all.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share any student, school, or teacher data with third parties. The only third-party service integrated into the App is Google AdMob, described above.

5. Children's Data

Grado PH is a tool for teachers and is not directed at children. Any student names entered are stored locally on the teacher's own device under the teacher's control, are never transmitted anywhere by the App, and are not accessible to the developer. If you have concerns about student data entered into the App, you may delete the relevant class record or uninstall the App at any time to permanently remove it.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Since all data is stored locally, you control retention directly: delete a class record within the App, or uninstall the App to remove all locally stored data at once.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this same location with an updated "Last updated" date.
